The Five Towns Jewish Community has become a target!  Missionaries spend millions of dollars each year targeting Jews for conversion.  In response to recent missionary invasion in the Five Towns, The Jean Fischman Chabad Center will be holding a community-wide awareness brunch to address the potential danger that our community is facing. 

Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz, counter-missionary expert and founder of “Jews for Judaism”, will address the timely and charged topic of “Battle for the Jewish Soul: The Missionary Threat to Jews.”  He will present the motives and methods of missionaries and demonstrate tactics and arguments that will empower you to respond to anyone who challenges your faith.  Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz, an acknowledged authority on Judaism and renowned lecturer, has appeared on both television and radio programs and has lectured extensively throughout the world. With over 25 years of experience, he has one of the highest success records in the Jewish community for counseling Jews involved in cults and missionary groups.

Rabbi Shneur Z. Wolowik, director of the Jean Fischman Chabad Center, presents his view and says, “This is a threat that can not be ignored, as I have witnessed first-hand the detrimental and devastating effect this can have on our community.”
