Uri and Wendy Ottensoser are extremely proud to be part of the Chabad family and of Rabbi Zalman and Chanie Wolowik’s selfless dedication to mitzvot and the Five Town community.
Uri was born and raised in Queens. After graduating high school, Uri studied for a year in Israel at Yeshivat Hakotel. He graduated from Queens College and received his J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law. Uri is a partner at Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a New York City law firm, where he specializes in complex corporate litigation. Uri is a frequent lecturer on legal issues, including corporate governance, and has written extensively and been published on those matters.
Wendy was born and raised in Lawrence. After graduating HAFTR high school, Wendy received a B.A. in accounting from Queens College. After college, Wendy worked as an auditor in Los Angeles for Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Wendy is a devoted mother and housewife, and spends her time attending to community issues and chesed.
Uri & Wendy have been married since 1993. After living in California for several years, they settled, and currently reside, in Lawrence with their three children, Elyssa (age 15), Haley (age 11) and Elliott (age 9). Elyssa currently attends the Ramaz Upper School and Haley and Elliott attend HAFTR.
