Passover (beginning April 23) is fast approaching. It's a time when families get together to celebrate our national and personal freedom. The focal point of the holiday is the famed Passover Seder. If you will conduct your own family Seder or celebrate with friends we offer you our companion resources to help make it even more enriching and meaningful.
For your convenience, the laws pertaining to the observance of Passover and our complete schedule of services and Holiday times for April 21 through May 1st is now available on our website, by clicking here. Please note, Yizkor Memorial Services take place on Sunday, May 1st at 10:45 am. For any questions, please call me at 516-295-2478 ext. 11.
The Baal Shem Tov, founder of the Chassidic movement, established a tradition that on the last day of Pesach we eat a special meal, the Moshiach Seudah, complete with matza, wine and Chassidic songs. Rabbi Heshy Epstein, director of Chabad of S. Carolina, will lead the Seudah at Chabad of Five Towns, 74 Maple Avenue in Cedarhurst, on Sunday, May 1, 6:30 pm. All are welcome to join!
May you and yours be blessed to experience a Happy and Kosher Passover! (And enjoy our multi-faceted Passover megasite!)
